For/Against ? Single trebles

Post by Tigger on Sun May 26, 2013 11:04 am

Since using just one treble on a trace (and using smaller bait), after so many problems with hooking my landing net, I have had the following results:-

Takes 47
Landed 44 all lip hooked(including 3 twenties, and 4 low doubles)
Not hooked 3 (This is where I strike, feel a struggle and then after a couple of seconds the fish has gone)
Hook tangled in net 1 (hook through lip and into net)

Any comments of how the ratio of takes to landed compares to using two trebles, please.
